STMicroelectronics is seeking an intern to research and develop noise-cancellation solutions for intercom applications. The role involves comparing DSP-based and machine-learning approaches, implementing experiments in Python and MATLAB, developing and training algorithms, validating performance, and assessing methods on realistic intercom scenarios. Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a relevant master’s degree, have strong Python and machine-learning skills, knowledge of MATLAB and digital signal processing, and an interest in audio processing, speech enhancement, and noise cancellation.
