Google is hiring an AI and Infrastructure Software Engineer to design and implement low-level firmware for custom compute and accelerator hardware, develop system-level controller software, and build hardware interfaces and middleware for runtime resource management. The role also covers real-time tracking, diagnostics, fault tolerance, recovery, firmware updates, and collaboration with hardware, validation, and system software teams.
