Operations1 is hiring an AI Application Engineer (mid-level to senior) in Frankfurt am Main to design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI features for its manufacturing operations platform. The role covers end-to-end AI/ML development, integration of LLMs and external systems, ownership of the AI/ML technology stack, production code, testing and evaluation frameworks, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates need more than five years of software engineering experience, hands-on AI/ML experience, familiarity with TypeScript and modern development practices, and the ability to work regularly in the Frankfurt office as well as remotely.
