Description

Greenboard is hiring its first dedicated Automation Engineer to build and own the company’s test framework, automated regression suites, QA practices, release gates, and AI-system testing. The role covers critical compliance workflows such as message archiving, supervision, marketing review routing, employee attestations, audit trails, data integrity, and bug triage. It requires at least three years of software testing experience in high-consequence domains, strong API and database testing skills, Playwright or Cypress expertise, and the ability to test non-deterministic AI outputs. The position is located in New York City and includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of software testing in high-consequence domains such as fintech, healthtech, payments, or regulated environments
Experience writing Playwright or Cypress test suites and defining integration versus end-to-end tests
Experience holding a release and defending its quality
Preferred Qualifications: Experience testing non-deterministic systems and defining correctness thresholds
Experience with Node.js, React, AWS, or queue-based ingestion pipelines
Experience with SOC 2 audits and test-suite evidence
Experience working with compliance officers, advisors, or back-office teams
Interest in the financial industry
