Description
Latch is hiring a Bioinformatics Engineer - Proteomics to help build intelligent agents that analyze complex proteomic data from instrument outputs through scientific decision-making. The role involves developing datasets and workflows covering proteomics quality control, NGS-based proteomics, mass spectrometry, protein sequencing, single-molecule proteomics, affinity-targeted assays, X-ray crystallography, spatial proteomics, and clinical interpretation. Candidates need at least three years of hands-on proteomics or proteomics data experience and proficiency in Python and/or R. The position is a 40-hour-per-week contract with no end date, fully performance-based compensation of $120,000–$180,000, and can be remote, hybrid, or onsite in San Francisco.
