Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for a project-based opportunity focused on creating and evaluating benchmark tasks for AI coding agents. The work involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing solvable coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and iterating based on QA feedback. The role requires 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, testing, and English at B2+ level. It is not permanent employment, offers a self-managed schedule, and pays up to $50 per hour equivalent.
