Mindrift is recruiting experienced software developers for project-based work evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests that fairly assess agent solutions, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. Candidates should have 5+ years of software development experience, strong skills across Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, testing experience, and English proficiency at B2 or above. The opportunity is project-based rather than permanent employment, offers flexible scheduling, and pays up to $50 per hour equivalent.
