Mindrift is recruiting experienced software developers for project-based work evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and success criteria, writing functional and integration tests, reviewing agent solutions, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. Candidates need 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, test writing, and English at B2+ level. Work is project-based rather than permanent employment, with self-scheduled tasks estimated at about 20 hours and compensation up to $50 per hour equivalent.
