Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for a project-based opportunity evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing coding tasks and success criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and iterating on tasks based on quality-assurance feedback. It requires at least five years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, test writing, and English proficiency at B2 or higher. Participation is not permanent employment; contributors join projects, complete approximately 20-hour tasks on a self-directed schedule, and may earn up to $50 per hour equivalent.
