Mindrift is recruiting experienced software developers for a project-based opportunity creating and evaluating benchmark tasks for AI coding agents. The work involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing intermediate-state coding tasks and acceptance criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. The opportunity is project-based rather than permanent employment, with tasks estimated at about 30 hours and compensation paid per accepted task, up to the equivalent of $150 per hour.
