Mindrift is recruiting experienced software developers for a project-based freelance opportunity focused on creating and evaluating benchmark tasks for AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing solvable coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. Candidates should have 5+ years of software development experience, familiarity with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, English proficiency at B2+, and generally a relevant master's degree or a bachelor's degree with five years of experience. The work is part-time, fully remote, freelance, and paid per accepted task up to the equivalent of $50 per hour.
