Mindrift is recruiting experienced software developers for project-based work evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing intermediate-state coding tasks and success criteria, writing functional and integration tests that fairly assess agent solutions, and iterating on tasks based on QA feedback. Applicants need 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, test writing, and English at B2+ level. This is not permanent employment or data labeling; participants join projects, complete estimated 20-hour tasks, set their own schedule, and may earn up to $30 per hour equivalent.
