Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for project-based work creating and evaluating tasks for AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing intermediate-state coding tasks and acceptance criteria, writing robust functional and integration tests, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. It requires 8+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and English proficiency at B2 or higher. Work is project-based rather than permanent employment, with tasks estimated at about 30 hours and compensation paid per accepted task, up to the equivalent of $150 per hour.
