Mindrift is recruiting experienced software developers for a project-based opportunity to build and evaluate datasets for AI coding agents. The work involves creating realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging tasks and acceptance criteria, writing functional and integration tests, reviewing agent solutions, and iterating based on QA feedback. Applicants should have 8+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, plus B2+ English. The engagement is not permanent employment; tasks are estimated at about 30 hours each and are paid per accepted task, with compensation up to the equivalent of $200 per hour.
