Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for project-based work evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and iterating based on QA feedback. It requires 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, test writing, and English proficiency at B2 or higher. Participation is project-based rather than permanent employment, with tasks estimated at approximately 20 hours and compensation up to $40 per hour equivalent.
