Mindrift is recruiting experienced software developers for project-based work evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and iterating based on QA feedback. Candidates need 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, test development, and English at B2+ level. Work is project-based rather than permanent employment, with self-set scheduling and compensation up to $50 per hour equivalent.
