Mindrift is recruiting experienced software development specialists for a remote, project-based freelance opportunity focused on evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. Candidates should have 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and English at B2 or higher. A relevant master's degree is preferred, while a bachelor's degree is accepted with five years of field experience. Payment is per accepted task, up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, and the opportunity is part-time and remote rather than permanent employment.
