Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for a project-based opportunity creating and evaluating benchmark tasks for AI coding agents. The work involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing solvable coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and iterating based on QA feedback. Candidates should have 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, and English proficiency at B2+ level. The opportunity is not permanent employment, offers a self-directed schedule, and pays up to $50 per hour equivalent.
