Mindrift is recruiting experienced software professionals for a project-based freelance opportunity focused on evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. Candidates should have at least five years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, testing experience, and B2+ English. A relevant master’s degree is preferred, while a bachelor’s degree is accepted with five years of field experience. The work is part-time, remote, paid per accepted task, with compensation up to the equivalent of $50 per hour.
