Mindrift is seeking experienced software development specialists for project-based work evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests that fairly assess agent solutions, and iterating based on QA feedback. Candidates need 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, test writing, and English proficiency at B2 or higher. The opportunity is project-based rather than permanent employment, with self-set scheduling and compensation up to $50 per hour equivalent.
