Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for a project-based opportunity evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and iterating based on QA feedback to ensure evaluations are fair and robust. Candidates need 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, test writing, and English proficiency at B2 or higher. The work is not permanent employment, offers a self-directed schedule, and pays up to $30 per hour equivalent depending on level and pace.
