Mindrift is seeking an experienced software development specialist for project-based work evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, reviewing agent solutions, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. Candidates should have 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, test development, and English proficiency at B2+ or higher. Participation is project-based rather than permanent employment, with compensation up to $40 per hour equivalent and a self-set schedule.
