Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for a project-based opportunity evaluating AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and iterating based on QA feedback. Candidates should have at least five years of software development experience, hands-on knowledge of Python/FastAPI, JavaScript or TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, plus English proficiency at B2 level or higher. This is not permanent employment or data labeling; participants complete paid project tasks on a self-managed schedule, with compensation up to $40 per hour equivalent.
