Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for a project-based opportunity evaluating AI coding agents. The work involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing challenging developer tasks and evaluation criteria, writing fair functional and integration tests, and refining tasks based on QA feedback and analysis of agent failures. Applicants should have at least five years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, testing experience, and B2+ English proficiency. The opportunity is not permanent employment, allows candidates to set their own schedule, and pays up to $50 per hour equivalent depending on level and pace.
