Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers to create and evaluate realistic coding tasks for AI coding agents in project-based work. The role involves building simulated development environments, designing solvable tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and iterating based on QA feedback. Candidates need 5+ years in software development, experience with a stack including Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, plus English proficiency at B2+ level. The work is not permanent employment, is estimated at around 20 hours per task, and pays up to $50/hour equivalent depending on level and pace.
