The Buck Institute for Research on Aging is hiring a full-time AI Data Scientist / Agentic AI Engineer to develop AI-enabled systems for harmonizing, modeling, analyzing, and interpreting large biomedical datasets. The role combines agentic AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, software engineering, and machine learning with computational biology, multi-omics, clinical data, and translational research. Candidates should have a master’s degree or equivalent experience, strong Python skills, and experience building AI or data science systems. The position offers a $60,000–$75,000 salary, health insurance, paid leave, retirement matching, and possible work visa sponsorship.
