Laterite is hiring an early-career AI Developer for its Netherlands Analytics team to build and deploy AI-driven research applications and software products for social impact. The generalist role spans front-end, back-end, data handling, product development, and DevOps, with projects involving knowledge hubs, RAG and LLM agents, research automation, WhatsApp data collection, synthetic data generation, and Google Earth Engine. The position is based in Amsterdam with some work-from-home and remote-location flexibility, requires legal work authorization in the Netherlands without sponsorship, and offers EUR 33,830–40,000 annual gross salary.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, or quantitative social science
Required Previous Experiences: Up to 2 years of experience in a related role, or recent graduate
Personally built and shipped software demonstrated through a GitHub portfolio, internship, research tool, or substantial personal project
Preferred Qualifications: International development, social impact, or research experience or passion
Excellent written and oral English communication
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and self-motivation skills
