IONOS is hiring an AI Engineer to build the core intelligence systems for a multimodal AI platform serving customer support. The role focuses on agentic workflows, LLM orchestration, retrieval-augmented and context-augmented generation, real-time speech-to-speech pipelines, automated evaluation, and hybrid integration of commercial and open-source models. Candidates should have advanced Python or Java experience, LLM and multi-agent orchestration expertise, RAG and vector-database knowledge, low-latency systems experience, and familiarity with API design.
