Universitätsklinikum Köln is hiring an AI Development & Platform Engineer for its UK-IT department to build and operate an enterprise-wide AI development platform, standardize AI software development processes, automate CI/CD and testing services, implement security and data-protection controls, and advise development teams on governance and compliance. The role requires a degree or comparable IT qualification, practical AI application experience, platform and cloud architecture experience, knowledge of AI governance and regulatory requirements, strong analytical and communication skills, and excellent German at C1 level. The position is permanent, pays according to TV-L, and is generally suitable for part-time employment.
