Almetra is hiring a hands-on AI Edge Engineer to deploy and maintain edge systems at customer sites. The role involves assembling and configuring hardware cabinets, cameras, compute nodes, and networking equipment; testing connectivity and data flow; developing Bash or Python automation; troubleshooting hardware, network, and software issues; coordinating component sourcing and logistics; and meeting reliability, safety, and performance standards. Candidates need at least three years of industrial hardware installation, systems integration, or field engineering experience, practical Linux, networking, and device-configuration experience, familiarity with edge computing or IoT, and a valid driver's license.
