Blend is hiring a Data Scientist – Applied AI & Prompt Engineering to design, build, and deploy LLM-powered generative AI solutions. The role focuses on transformers, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, production APIs and streaming pipelines, evaluation, guardrails, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and ML Ops. Candidates need at least three years of applied machine learning experience, Python fluency, cloud deployment experience, and expertise in LLM architectures and responsible AI practices. The starting pay range is $125,000 to $180,000, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
