AECOM is hiring an AI Engineer for its Assurance & Insight team to design, implement, and deploy LLM-based solutions in production. The role covers agentic and context-engineering approaches, end-to-end machine learning solution development, text representation and semantic extraction pipelines, RAG systems, prompt engineering, data processing, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring, as well as integrating LLM features into a SaaS platform. The position requires a master’s degree in a relevant field, hands-on LLM experience, Python and pydantic proficiency, and experience with software solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
