Description

Alcon, a global leader in eye care, is seeking an AI Engineer to join their Dynamic Alcon Digital Hub. The successful candidate will design and deploy Agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, build and optimize Python applications, research cutting-edge Agentic AI techniques, develop AI agents, perform advanced data analysis, and implement various machine learning models.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Python and its key libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn), along with experience using Agentic AI frameworks.
Solid understanding of statistical inference, traditional machine learning algorithms, time-series analysis, simulation techniques, and neural network architectures.
Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases, LLM evaluation techniques, and AI governance best practices.
Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including Git, CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, with a passion for tackling complex challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
