Aptima is hiring an AI/ML Research Scientist to design, develop, and apply artificial intelligence and machine learning models for defense applications in the Dayton area. The role involves multimodal sensor systems, data mining, statistical analysis, computational modeling, digital signal processing, Python-based model implementation, and collaboration with software engineers and DoD research customers. Candidates must obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance, have 3–5 years of relevant experience, and possess strong technical and leadership abilities; a master’s or PhD is preferred. The salary is $115,000–$130,000.
