Description
Maxima is hiring an AI Engineer to build reliable, production-ready agentic workflows for enterprise accounting automation. The role involves designing prompts, evaluations, and model interfaces; building and orchestrating agent workflows; integrating AI components into product and infrastructure; and shipping end-to-end features with product, design, and engineering. Candidates should have at least two years of product-building experience at high-growth companies, familiarity with AI developments and frameworks, and experience with web development, relational databases, and distributed systems. The role is based in Maxima’s San Mateo office, with in-person collaboration four to five days per week.
