Description
PeopleLoop is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to build AI-powered product features using large language models and related technologies. The role focuses on integrating hosted LLMs, optimizing latency and cost, ingesting and structuring plan documents, creating explainable and auditable outputs, powering personalized recommendations, and designing human-in-the-loop workflows. Responsibilities include setting engineering standards, mentoring engineers, leading design reviews and RFCs, and collaborating with Product, Design, and domain experts. The position requires 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years at Senior or Staff level, strong Python and production AI experience, and a bachelor’s degree.
