Xelix is hiring a full-time AI Engineer to design and build production AI systems using machine learning, large language models, agents, tool use, and multi-step reasoning. The role covers model development and adaptation, LLM platform work, Python production engineering, evaluation, and collaboration with product and engineering teams. Candidates should have 2–5 years of experience building ML or AI-powered systems, strong Python and software design skills, experience with production environments, and knowledge of SQL, pandas, and messy real-world data. The position offers a hybrid arrangement with two days per week at the Hoxton office, a salary of £65,000 to £75,000, and medical and dental coverage.
