Description

XTB is hiring an AI Engineer to build, deploy, and scale production-grade generative AI systems for its global trading platform. The role focuses on LLM pipelines, RAG systems, AI agents, MCP servers, production APIs, evaluation-driven development, observability, and high-quality software engineering. Candidates need 2–5 years of commercial AI/ML or software engineering experience, Python expertise, and hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, databases, MLOps/LLMOps, and application monitoring. The position offers remote work from Warsaw or a coworking space in the candidate’s city.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 2–5 years of commercial experience in AI/ML or Software Engineering, with a proven track record of deploying systems to production
Hands-on experience developing MCP servers or custom tool-calling interfaces
Practical experience with LLM orchestration and data frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain
Experience building and maintaining production-grade REST, gRPC, and MCP APIs
Experience with PostgreSQL, pgvector, and advanced search strategies for AI agents
Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps, observability, automatic evaluations, and prompt optimization
Hands-on experience monitoring application health and performance with Prometheus and Grafana
Preferred Qualifications: Experience evaluating AI agents using ML practices and LLM-as-a-judge calibration
Knowledge of financial systems, trading, or regulated fintech environments
Experience securing AI applications through red teaming, adversarial testing, and anti-jailbreak policies
Experience with cost and latency optimization, including context compression and prompt caching
