Description
The AI Engineering Lead will provide technical and strategic leadership for AI engineering in the property and casualty insurance domain. The role involves defining AI strategy, architecting scalable real-time AI and data platforms, developing and deploying machine learning solutions such as LLMs, graph neural networks, and computer vision, and owning an AI fraud prevention platform from data preparation through production. It also includes mentoring engineers and data scientists, collaborating with insurance and product stakeholders, and advancing responsible AI innovation. The position requires strong Python, Java, SQL, Spark, cloud, AI/ML, RAG, agent workflow, and architecture expertise, plus at least 8 years in technology and 3 years building production-grade fraud use cases. The salary range is $108,700–$158,700 annually.
