Apple's CoreOS Performance team is hiring an AI Feature Performance Engineer to optimize and advise on AI feature usage across software and hardware platforms. The role involves writing code for feature optimizations and testing automation, building analysis pipelines and simulation tools, and using performance analysis, data science, and predictive modeling to shape architecture, hardware, and product decisions. The position requires a quantitative degree or equivalent experience, programming proficiency, AI/LLM and operating-system knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills.
