JACOB is hiring an AI-First Tech Lead for Platform & Engineering in Karlsruhe. The role leads projects using Claude Code or similar coding agents, defines technical standards, provides technical leadership, and translates business requirements into production-ready solutions. Responsibilities include architecture, code reviews, technical roadmaps, quality and maintainability, and mentoring developers. Candidates need a relevant technical degree or equivalent training, at least five years of software development experience, strong knowledge of software architecture, APIs, databases, Docker, and CI/CD, and onsite work in Karlsruhe with two days per week onsite.
