Horizon Farm Credit is hiring a full-time AI Intern for a paid 10–12-week summer internship in Bel Air, Maryland, or Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The intern will work with the Business Intelligence team to design, build, evaluate, test, and deploy generative AI applications using on-premises computing, open-weight large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and modern machine learning practices. The role includes stakeholder collaboration, AI-tool research, feasibility assessment, technical specification development, and knowledge sharing. Candidates should be ambitious students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, have a GPA of 3.0 or above, and have coursework in data structures and algorithms, databases, programming, and user experience.
