Majestic Labs is hiring an AI Compute Kernel Engineer to design and optimize high-performance compute kernels for AI primitives such as GEMM, attention, normalization, and convolution. The role focuses on throughput, latency, memory hierarchy, heterogeneous SIMD and matrix-engine optimization, kernel profiling, precision-format evaluation, and collaboration with compiler, runtime, and hardware teams. Candidates need a degree in computer science or a related field, strong parallel-programming and C++ skills, experience with wide-SIMD and matrix engines, and hands-on workload optimization experience.
