Description

CleanSlate Technology Group is hiring an AI/Machine Learning Engineer for its Cloud Data and Analytics team to design, build, and deliver scalable AI/ML solutions for clients using cloud-native approaches. The role is hands-on and blends development, data engineering, technical planning, code reviews, and client collaboration, with a strong focus on Python-based machine learning, generative AI, MLOps, and modern cloud ML platforms such as AWS or Azure. The position is full-time and hybrid, located in either the Greater Indianapolis Area or the Greater St. Louis Area.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or related field
Required Previous Experiences: 2+ years of machine learning experience building complex Data/AI solutions
2+ years of implementation experience using Python and related ML libraries
Preferred Qualifications: Consulting experience
AWS or Azure ML experience or certification
Experience with Databricks, Spark, PySpark, or Scala for high-volume ML pipelines
Strong client communication skills
Client data science leadership experience
Experience with SageMaker or Azure ML; AWS Bedrock is a plus
AWS Machine Learning Certification or Azure AI Engineer Associate Certification
Experience with data lakes or lakehouses for ML experimentation, training, and testing
Experience productionizing AI models
Working knowledge of feature stores
