Description
NXP Semiconductors is hiring an AI/ML-driven ASIC Design and Implementation Lead Engineer to develop and evaluate AI/ML and automation techniques for VLSI CAD, SoC and IP design, verification, and implementation flows. The role involves prototyping solutions using methods such as GenAI, reinforcement learning, graph neural networks, and convolutional networks, collaborating with architecture, design, verification, implementation, and enablement teams, and piloting automation on advanced-node SoCs for edge-AI, automotive processors, and microcontrollers. It requires a strong software background, 10+ years of complex software development experience, Python and C++ programming, Unix/Linux, version control, and knowledge of VLSI CAD, EDA, timing, constraints, low-power, and CI/CD flows.
