Description
Downer is hiring six AI/ML Engineers to design, build, test, and deploy enterprise-grade artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions, including agentic workflows, RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and MLOps pipelines. The role covers the full delivery lifecycle, from prototyping and model evaluation through production deployment, monitoring, documentation, security, governance, and cost optimization across Azure, Databricks, and related platforms. Candidates should have a relevant tertiary qualification, at least five years of software or data engineering experience, at least two years of production AI/ML experience, and strong Python, C#, SQL, DevOps, and AI engineering capabilities. The position is Australia-based, with Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane preferred, and may require occasional travel.
