The role combines technical leadership with AI strategy, including defining engineering standards, evaluating and piloting AI use cases, designing autonomous agents integrated with Jira, GitHub, and CI/CD systems, establishing quality and governance frameworks, measuring developer productivity, and upskilling teams. Candidates need 10+ years of software development experience, 3+ years in technical leadership, and experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, Model Context Protocol, AI-assisted development tools, software architecture, AI security, and engineering productivity metrics.
