Brightwheel is hiring an AI-native software engineer to join its product engineering team and build customer-facing workflows for early education programs. The role owns problems from discovery through launch and iteration, uses AI agents and automation to improve development and product delivery, and partners with product, design, and customer-facing teams. Candidates should have at least five years of professional software engineering experience, strong engineering fundamentals, production ownership, and experience automating work or building customer-facing products. The technology stack includes Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, PostgreSQL, Redis, React with TypeScript, mobile technologies, AWS, and AI tools such as AWS Bedrock, vector search, and agent frameworks.
