Description
OPSWAT is hiring a MetaDefender Core Software Engineer to design and ship features for its file-security platform. The role combines full-cycle software development with an AI-assisted workflow, including requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, AI-generated-code review, and improvement of agent configurations and prompts. The engineer will work across Windows and Linux, cloud, containerized, on-premises, and air-gapped environments, and collaborate with Product Management and QA. The position requires a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least one year of professional experience with feature ownership, strong software-design and debugging skills, and hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic tools.
