Alight is hiring a remote AI Engineering Platform Engineer to build and operate the developer lifecycle, deployment infrastructure, observability, quality automation, document ingestion pipelines, reusable agent patterns, and governance controls for AI agents serving millions of users. The role requires Python proficiency, AWS knowledge, software engineering discipline, and security awareness, with expertise in one of six specialized areas including AI agent development, data and retrieval engineering, quality and evaluation, platform and infrastructure, observability and operations, or developer experience. The position offers a base salary of 120,000 to 220,000 USD and includes health, dental, and vision coverage starting on Day One.
